Key Insights and Lessons Learned
Discussions revealed significant challenges in achieving health targets, with climate change, conflict and inequality exacerbating global disparities.
Despite decades of progress, participants noted alarming pushback against gender rights worldwide. Key discussions centered on combating gender-based violence through stronger legal frameworks and improving women's economic participation via care economy investments and digital inclusion.
Transparency, accountability, and accurate data collection were identified as foundational to successful SDG monitoring and evaluation.
A key takeaway for stakeholder engagement is that your delegation’s experience can be significantly enhanced by early identification and interaction with government officials, community leaders, subject experts, private sector corporations, and other relevant groups.
