Jordan is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights (French Immersion). Her interests centre on international affairs, diplomacy, human rights, and disarmament. She brings nearly three years of experience working on Parliament Hill, including as a Parliamentary Page and with the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, where she gained firsthand experience of Canada’s parliamentary institutions, federal politics, and high-profile international visits.
Her interest in human rights and disarmament led her to Nepal, where she interned with the Campaign to Ban Landmines Nepal, supporting mine-risk education, women’s economic development initiatives, research, and advocacy. She continues to volunteer with Mines Action Canada, contributing to research and outreach regarding disarmament.
Passionate about policy and human rights, Jordan believes that young people have an important role to play in shaping the decisions affecting our world. She looks forward to contributing to Young Diplomats of Canada’s mission to support and empower young Canadians to engage in international affairs and global decision-making.
