Board Director

Jake Kennedy brings with him over two decades of experience in public service, Indigenous relations, and strategic leadership. As a Director General in the Canadian federal government, he has led high-impact policy initiatives and complex intergovernmental negotiations, with a focus on reconciliation, innovation, and inclusive governance.

He is an advocate for youth engagement and leadership development, actively mentoring early-career professionals, supporting young professional networks, delivering guest lectures, and supporting professional development programs within and beyond government. He brings a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to governance, intergovernmental relations and advocacy.

Outside of work, Jake is a father of two teenage boys, and lives with them and his wife next to a ski hill in the Gatineau Hills.
