Guillaume Lalancette is an international management consultant with work experience across arange of roles and industries in Canada, the United States, Italy, Spain, Thailand and Costa Rica. His work focuses on helping institutions work across different cultures, an area closely connected to his strong engagement with Canadian foreign policy.

Guillaume has been recognized internationally for his leadership, receiving the Global Intercultural Distinction and recognition as future global society leader. He has a strong record of representing Canada internationally. During his graduate studies, he was elected to represent Canada at the global level in Vienna, Austria. His international involvement also includes the V4 Conference in Prague and the DACH Forum in Switzerland, as well as leadership delegations across Belgium, Hungary and Spain. As passionate public speaker, he competed in forensics in Wisconsin earning a Bronze Honor.

Guillaume holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and the University of Melbourne. After gaining valuable professional experience, he completed a double Master’s in International Management at Ivey Business School and the CEMS Master in International Management, studying in Portugal and South Korea with a focus on international affairs and cross-cultural management. At Korea University, he was elected President and represented the Korean community. Active across the Asia-Pacific region, he led the APAC Conference in Hong Kong. His work and research focused on South Korea, China and Japan.

Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, playing guitar and singing. He also volunteers with organizations supporting medical causes and children with disabilities in Antigua, Guatemala.
