Board Director
Enya Bouchard (she/her) is a Visits Officer at Global Affairs Canada with a passion for diplomacy and foreign affairs. She studied international relations at Laval University. Her multidisciplinary background in politics, law and economics has equipped her to analyze global issues. Aligned with her interests, she participated in several fellowships, including the Institute of Diplomacy of Quebec, the Canada-Asia Young Professional Fellowship, and the CanStudyUS Home and Away Fellowship.
Throughout her career, she developed an expertise in politics, government affairs, and democratic institutions having previously worked at the Quebec Office in Ottawa, the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada. As a proud alumna of the Parliamentary Internship Programme, she also participated in legislative study tours in Canada and abroad. Notably, she interned at the General Secretariat of Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie and the Quebec National Assembly.
In recent years, she demonstrated leadership as Chief Administrative Officer of Young Diplomats of Canada. She now volunteers as one of its board members and is involved in the Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association. Enya is also a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her community engagement in the not-for-profit sector.
