Carolyn Boyd is a first-year Master’s student in Public and International Affairs at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Forensic Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University, where her experience with research, academic coordination, and StFX’s famously tight-knit alumni community sparked a lasting passion for community building and engagement.

Driven by an interest in public policy, global affairs, and youth leadership, Carolyn brings a strong background in event coordination, communications, and alumni outreach to her role. As Alumni Engagement Coordinator at Young Diplomats of Canada, she is excited to support initiatives that foster meaningful, long-term connections across YDC’s national network of former delegates and executives.
