Board Director

Angela Chen is a cross-sector strategist, educator, and founder dedicated to expanding global leadership opportunities for youth. With deep experience across innovation, education, and policy, she has shaped strategic initiatives at institutions like Stanford, where she founded the Education Entrepreneurship Hub and taught courses on innovation.

A Silicon Valley–based operator with Canadian roots, Angela has supported global innovation ecosystems as a mentor, judge, and angel investor, and advised on AI and education policy at national and international levels. She is also a public speaker and published thought leader on the future of work, inclusive innovation, and youth empowerment.

As a YDC Board Director, Angela is focused on strengthening partnerships, cultivating philanthropic collaborations, and expanding sustainable funding pathways to unlock access to diplomacy and global decision-making for Canadian youth. She holds a Master’s in International Policy from Stanford and dual undergraduate degrees from the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania.
